California Regional Water Quality Control Board Investigation Cont’d – Additional Potential Sources Identified

The California Regional Water Quality Control Board continues its investigation into the source of the Benzene intrusion. The Board has identified two additional potential Benzene sources along Narbonne Ave. stemming from an underground storage tank system.

The LA Regional board has requested work plans from the responsible parties of the two new investigation sites in order to determine the extent of the contaminants. The responsible parties will submit these work plans to demonstrate compliance with the Board’s requirements for corrective action.
