The Water Division's Mission is to provide clean, safe and reliable water supplies to residents and businesses in Lomita while ensuring efficient operations and cost-effective service delivery.
The City of Lomita provides water services through its Water Division to 4,242 service connections, comprised of 3,935 residential customers and 307 non-residential customers among a mix of commercial and other classifications.
The City’s Water Division staff is certified by the State of California Operator Certification Program (a division of the State Water Resources Control Board) to operate, maintain and repair the water distribution system and Cypress Water Production Facility (CWPF).
