California Regional Water Quality Control Board Continues Investigation, Seeks Information From Additional Source

The California Regional Water Quality Control Board continues its investigation into the source of the benzene intrusion. The Board has identified a site on Crenshaw Boulevard in Torrance that, according to a review of the State’s case file, is missing historical and present information regarding chemical use and storage.

The LA Regional board has requested past and present information including a dated and detailed description of operations at the site and information on chemical storage and use.
